is project work?
This is one of the most
commonly asked questions when a 4-H member is working on record books.
Project work is everything
that a 4-her does to learn
about a project. It includes daily chores, attending camps and conferences,
workshops or clinics, classes taken, speeches or demonstrations
given, topics researched, hours of practice or rehearsal. Project
work varies according to the project, but these are areas commonly found
in most projects. Other project work might include experiments conducted,

Science Educational
Program To Begin
How do you know if you
are getting a good deal on meat cuts? Is a chuck eye steak
a good choice for grilling? What is the difference between cuts?
To find out the answers to these and/other questions, get involved in
the Meat Science Educational Program. This year's program will focus
on pork. You will learn the difference between meats and their nutritional
value. You'll also learn some great new recipes at the pork cooking
