May 18 is the TREEmendous 4-H day in Tulsa County! 4-H members are spreading the green with trees!  Our goal is to promote planting trees and encourage a commitment to environmental stewardship, while raising money for Tulsa County 4-H.  Loblolly Pine trees are being  given away for donations.  4-H Clubs set up collection sites throughout the county.  All proceeds benefit Tulsa County 4-H events and awards.  Tree preparation is on Thursday, May 16 at 5:00 p.m. in Exchange Center III on the fairgrounds.  4-H members earn Clover Cash for the time they work on this  project.

Following the distribution of trees,  we'll have a 4-H Family Picnic at Elm Creek Park, 12501 E. 77th St. N. in Owasso starting at 6:30 p.m.  Currently seven clubs are registered to participate in the TREEmendous Project:   Dairy Capitol, Discovery, Homesteaders, Impact, Trails End, Sand Springs, and YFR.  Don't be left out of this TREEmendous opportunity.  Call the 4-H office today!!!
