Benefits of becoming a 4-H Alumni Association Member

  • The Oklahoma 4-H Program can locate and communicate regularly with 4-H alumni that have become disconnected.
  • Alumni are potential 4-H volunteers at the local, district and state level.
  • Involved and informed alumni enhance our support base.
  • Alumni can rekindle old friendships through social activities.
  • 4-H Alumni Fees provide financial support to 4-H youth; especially those who need financial assistance to participate.

How does it work?

  • Alumni members pay a membership fee:
  • Annual single $20
    Annual couple $30
    Life $200 (installments - $50/year)

What are alumni fees used for?

  • The major portion of the fees will be used to send 4-H members to:
  • Overnight County 4-H Camp or other county trips
    District Leadership Conferences
    Discovery Unlimited
    Oklahoma 4-H Roundup
    Oklahoma 4-H Congress
    Western 4-H Roundup - Denver
    Global 4-H Conference - Kansas City
    National 4-H Congress
    Citizenship Washington Focus
    College Scholarships (Scholarships must be used within one year of high school graduation. Forfeited scholarships will be submitted to the 4-H member's county of origin)

  • 60 percent of an alumni member's fee would be designated by the alumni member to the 4-H member they choose.
  • 40 percent of an alumni member's fee would be used by the Oklahoma 4-H Foundation to provide additional support for trips and scholarships as well as provide 4-H Alumni member services.
