VOICE (Volunteers Organized in Club Education)

The Tulsa County 4-H VOICE is made up of volunteer, parent and/or teen representatives from each 4-H club. The business of county events tops the list of priorities for this group. All event committees meet and report at these quarterly meetings. In addition to the quarterly business meetings (currently on the 2nd Tuesday in February, May, August, and November) brief training sessions help individuals become an even better 4-H volunteer/parent. All 4-H member's parents are welcome.

VOICE Committees include:

  • Life Skills
  • Communication
  • Agri-Culture
  • County Fair
  • Leisure Education
  • Leadership Development
  • Cultural Arts
  • Fund Development
  • Awards and Recognition

These committees plan and conduct county events for Tulsa County 4-H Youth. They support the 4-H program by participating in County, District, and State Volunteer Training opportunities. They secure ideas and resources to strengthen the club and county educational program. Each committee is unique in its responsibilities to the total county program. It's a great way to get to know people throughout the county and to learn more about what 4-H offers its youth and its volunteers. Contact Tracy Lane if you are interested in serving on a committee.
