Tulsa County OHCE (Oklahoma Home Community Education) members and guest meet once or twice a month for Chat & Create. The purpose:

Work on creative projects for outreach programs and for the County Fair.
Fellowship, while discussing plans to improve OHCE for the future.

Multi County Camp Registration Due 
May 1, 2020
What: Multi-County Camp
When: June 2-4, 2020

Where: Osage Hills State Park
Cost: $60 per camper and counselor
Registration: Campers must be at least nine years old by the first day of camp and
counselors must be at least 14. All registration forms are due to the 4-H office by May 1. Campers will come to camp on June 2nd at 11:00 am.
Activities: This years camp theme will be the land run. We are in the process of planning camp and are very excited about it!
Note: Counselors are required to be at camp on June 1, 2020.

Food Showdown 
May 14, 2020
Who: All Tulsa County 4-H�ers
What: 2020 Food Showdown
When: May 14, 2020; Registration due
Where: To Be Determined, watch for updates
Notes: We will again open this contest up to all ages. The age categories will be Junior grades 3-7, and Senior grades 8-12. Each team will have a maximum of three members. Team members do not have to be from the same club. You must wear a clean apron, lab coat or chef�s coat; closed toed shoes; long pants and hair coverings are required for all team members. Appropriate clean hair coverings include: caps, bandanas, skullcaps and hairnets. Long hair must be tied back. There are four possible categories: Main Dish, Fruits and Vegetables, Breads and Cereal, and Nutritious Snack. This year we will be adding cloverbuds to this event. Cloverbuds will need to form a team of two or three people and they will be decorating cookies during the event. May 27, 2020
What: Northeast District Contest Days. Events include tractor driving, public speaking, job readiness, quiz bowl, skill-a-thons, clover quiz bowl, livestock quiz bowl and food showdown.
When: May 27-29 starting at 9:00 am
Where: Kellyville High School and Creek County Fairgrounds
COST for each contest ill be $1, EXCLUDING Junior and Senior Food Showdown, Dutch Oven Contest $20/team, Livestock and Clover Quiz Bowl $10/team, 4-H Has Talent Small Groups (2 to 4 members) $10 and Large Groups (5+members) $20. Individual 4-H Has Talent will also be the $1 entry fee. Skill-A-thon and Consumer Judging cost will be $2 on the day of the event.

Registration: Entries are due by May 10, 2020 to the 4-H office. All 4-H members who are 8 and in the 3rd grade are eligible to participate. You can sign up for skill-a-thons the day of the contest for $2.00. Tractor driving and ATV Skills contest do require certification. If you plan to participate in the Job Readiness contest and the speech contest you can only present one speech at the contest. You can pick up a registration form at the 4-H office or at www.oces.tulsacounty.org.
Forms can also be found on the Tulsa County 4-H Events and Activities page.
Volunteers: Tulsa County must provide one volunteer room monitor and one judge before entries will be accepted. Contact Lisa if you can help.

VOICE Meeting

What: VOICE Meeting
When: Thursday, May 7th, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.
Who: All 4-H Parents, Volunteers and Ambassadors are invited to attend.

Bring: Your favorite Snack Food!
Why: Helps meet volunteer certification requirements! Receive the latest 4-H information. Meet and visit with other volunteers and parents! Your clubs representation at all VOICE meetings helps your club become a Gold Banner Club.
County Officers will be there to play games and do activities with the kids during the meeting.
